It is the aim of CyberTips to provide practical tips, resources and contact information to help parents, children and educators to use the Internet safely and be on guard against online predators and inappropriate content.

In addition to the tips and resources outlined on this web site, there is also a reporting link visible on every page. You can use the link to make a report directly to the Bermuda Police Service if you encounter any incidences of child pornography, the sexual exploitation of children or cyberbullying and fraud. When you make a report, you have the option of sending information confidentially through Crimestoppers as well.

Our logo for the website that appears just above the words cybertips.bm is a friendly waving Bermuda skink, Cyber Cyd, enclosed in a pink safety ring. Cyber Cyd received his name through a Primary School contest in 2009. It is the symbol for online safety in Bermuda, embraced by both children, parents and educators alike and is a constant reminder for all to stay safe and smart in the online environment.
